Daddy Goes Back to Work

After 3 weeks at home with Kate, it was time for Nick to go back to work. As bad as he hated to go back, he was so grateful to be able to spend 3 weeks at home with us. Here's what his office looks like now...

I've officially been outnumbered... By a lot. :)

First Bath!

Here are some pictures of Kate's first bath (that was not a sponge bath). Again, Kate, mommy is very sorry about this.

Kate loved her first bath so much (even though it really wore her out!) and still does LOVE getting baths! She lays there as happy as can be as I wash her and her Daddy pours water over her belly. We might have a future swimmer!

2 Weeks Old

Hiccups

Kate would get the hiccups when I was pregnant with her on a daily basis. This is still continuing... She gets them at least twice a day. Here she is, 6 days old, trying to get through another hiccups episode.

Newborn Pictures

Okay... I am so behind in posting. 2 months behind actually. There has been a lot going on and we have been quite busy with baby Kate. Okay, maybe not "busy". We just spend most of the day staring at her. But I'll hopefully be better about posting in a more timely manner. No promises though.

The week after Kate was born, we took her to Brooke Stacey's home to have her newborn pictures made. Brooke does such a phenomenal job and we couldn't have been happier with how they turned out! Here are some of our favorites.

And a newborn photo shoot wouldn't be complete without a diaper explosion! Brooke is such a trooper... She didn't care that Kate was pooping all over her pristine, white quilt. She just had me and Nick hold a towel and she just kept shooting away!
